"DO NOT BOOK. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to find no one at reception, only envelopes with room keys. There were no check-in instructions and no Lausanne Travel Pass, which is advertised as a complimentary benefit and should be provided at check-in.
The room appeared not to have been properly cleaned. The beds were covered in hair, sheets were missing, and we were given only two towels for three...
"We were only staying overnight as we travelled to family in Switzerland. The hotel is well appointed, self parking available and a beautiful view. The complimentary water in the fridge was appreciated.
Breakfast was of a good standard and the staff were all very helpful and efficient"
A refaire ;-)

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented.
Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
