"Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari."

"Amazing hotel, in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. The staff is attentive and professional, the rooms are big and with every comfort, the restaurant is excellent. The hotel has a wonderful garden with a pool that has a little jacuzzi area and is 10 mins walking to the main beaches of the island, 20 to the town and Harbour. I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back the next time I am in Vulcano! "

"Overall I really enjoyed staying there, due Covid things are different but the room was nice with a greet balcony overlooking the ocean and listening to the water crash on rocks. Nice breakfast. "

"The view was amazing! It is a 1970's hotel a short walk uphill into town of Malfa, a walk down hill the the small "beach" and small harbor below. Nothing fancy about it, but a nice staff and breathtaking views. I hear they are putting hot water kettles in the rooms, which will be nice since breakfast isn't until 7 am and you really do not want to sleep through the spectacular sunrises! Felt Safe for a solo female traveler. Good budget choice!"

"One of the best locations on the island for first time visitors. You get off the ferry and in a three minute walk you are at the hotel. The hotel is italian-style with the owner checking you in and someone else at the front desk helping out too. The owner takes pride in his hotel you can tell so make sure to not complain or give him any problems and then he is friendly. "This is a stunning small boutique hotel with wonderful staff and excellent service. The furnishings and decor are very attractive and homely and the roof terrace is spectacular. Breakfast was superb for continental! But Hotels.com needs to update its description, they don’t offer a free transfer service to the port any longer and it is not a swimming pool on the terrace but a thermal pool with waters from a local hot spring, which is simply wonderful! This is not negative feedback just a note...

"This is a lovely hotel not far from the port and the town center, where you’ll find lots of shops and restaurants. It’s also not far from the archeological museum and the old port. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. The pool was empty but likely that was because it’s early April - I’m sure it’s amazing in the summer time!"

I wish I could remember all names because the whole staff was wonderful. Special thanks to this gentleman that was there almost every night during our stay always helping us! Rocce Azzurre is a lovely hotel with this natural "swimming pool" right in front of it! We definitely would stay there again."
