"Beautiful location and view with wonderful walks along the adjacent fields. Very good cold breakfast included in the price. Room was small but immaculate in a utilitarian sort of way. Bed and linens very comfortable"

"We were only staying overnight as we travelled to family in Switzerland. The hotel is well appointed, self parking available and a beautiful view. The complimentary water in the fridge was appreciated. Breakfast was of a good standard and the staff were all very helpful and efficient"

There were no check-in instructions and no Lausanne Travel Pass, which is advertised as a complimentary benefit and should be provided at check-in. The room appeared not to have been properly cleaned. The beds were covered in hair, sheets were missing, and we were given only two towels for three...

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
