"I was in the area for a conference. I must admit, I was exceptionally surprised at the cleanliness and the hospitality of the hotel. Not to their fault but my third floor room faced the street and there was quite a bit of activity and noise very late at night due to the local college students, however, even with that being said, my stay was comfortable the amenities were surprisingly nice and I was quite comfortable in my room. "Te only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom. The lighting for the mirror needs updating. It’s not very effective for doing hair and makeup."

"Older beautiful mansion converted to a spa hotel. Loved the decor from the 1800s. Breakfast was very good especially the fresh fruit and wonderful bacon. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our stay."

"Staff were very helpful and nice; the room was clean and fairly spacious but some repairs were in order as the closet doors/molding were off track and in need of repair"

"The room was very clean a bit dated. However, the gravity is going through construction, which was not advertised when I booked. It was not very problematic because we were just there for one night. The staff all were very approachable and responsive. There didn’t seem to be many but the ones I did see an encounter were wonderful."

"Very clean, friendly staff, very good food, would definitely stay there again."

"What a lovely, peaceful stay I had at the Hatch House. I was treated like family, and the location is easily walkable to the river and downtown shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this beautiful home and wonderful couple."

"This is an old downtown hotel which is neat area. I like looking at downtown’s in every city I go. The hotel doesn’t seem too busy but works for my event. I might have been the only person there this time. The room was clean but other areas not so much. Have bought light bulbs before because there was only 1 wimpy one in the room."

"Clean and cozy! Perfect place for the weekend to attend a family gathering! Will definitely come back!"

"Everything was as advertised and more than met my needs. The home is in an older neighborhood which is very quiet and felt comfortable. If I am in the area I would certainly stay again. "

"True hidden Gem. My wife and I travel a lot and typically stay in bed and breakfasts, and this was one of our favorites in the northeast. Fantastic breakfast was an added bonus. The owner, Penny, was extremely friendly and accommodating. Can't say enough positive things about our stay!"
