"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."

"Top place. I had a triple room to myself. Quiet. Comfortable and close to some good bars. Quite a walk to the beach and Old Town but Gijón bike's make it a cinch. Only possi le downside is that they have no air con. "

"The seniora doing the night shift was extremely helpful. She went over and beyond to help us. Property a bit dated but very convenient and easy access to downtown restaurants and shopping. Having an EV charger was also a plus for us. "

The Bad: Sound proofing was not great and we didn't sleep well. Our room was on the 1st floor next to the stairs and elevator, so we could hear people coming and going all the time. "Hotel fine, nothing fancy but perfectly ok. Only difficulty was parking. Never impressed by hotels that charge their guests to park so opted to park in the road but usually no spaces very near. Not a big problem but irritating. Disappointing to find an ashtray in the room although surprisingly it did not stink like smokers rooms usually do"
