"We liked having underground protected parking and water refill station at the front. Run down hotel condition though and had to be moved to different floor due to strong pot smell. Then new room we saw two roaches later in the stay. We told front desk upon checkout, but they didn't seem to care. Beach/Pool towels are $25 if not returned same day,"

"Outdoor open spaces encourage relaxation very inviting. Clean and staff very helpful. Smaller hotel setting and not on beach but walking access to the ocean. Great stay"

"It was a convenient place to say in the Hilo area. Owner was helpful. Breakfasts were yummy."

"Definitely stay here! The rooms are lovely as are the hosts. It's right on the water, a short walk or drive to the main shops & farmers market. Also a short drive to many lovely beaches. The breakfast was incredible - and they even accomodated gluten-free. Really great overall, great deal and we'll stay again if on Hilo!"

"The house was very nice, very clean. Our room had a great view of Hilo and the ocean from the private patio. Huge bathroom and dressing room. The ideal room to stay for our first time on the Big Island. Tropical sounds and sights right from your room. Perfect place, so glad we chose to stay here!"

"Everything is OK. The property is not clean good enough. Need to buy the new pillows , comforters and towels."

"The home was well equipped and clean. It is conveniently located in the middle of the town, within a few minutes to the university and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Mahalo!"

"Interior design nicely arranged, but pricey for what it really is. Clean, good communication with host. Location OK, close to downtown hilo, breach front if you have a car, but surroundings of the appartment are not fantastic, Table for dinner is tiny, can fit 2 guests but not 4, what made dinner as a family of 4 challenging..."

"Views from the lanai are beautiful. Super easy check-in process and house was as described and seen in photos. Would definitely stay again"

"This was an amazing house, with about 4-5 rooms all to ourselves. There was full kitchen and cooking facilities, and some snacks and cooking materials (milk, sauces, etc) had been left for us to use. Each room was an Aladdin's cave of souvenirs and oddities, attached to the wall or ceiling. There was an amazing little garden, with a pond, which had some very noisy frogs in it. There was veranda and porch, so we could sit outside and have a drink. It was like living in a hobbit house or...

"I was super excited to stay at this property. The pluses...the Koy pond. The fish are amazing and love to eat. Also, the sounds at night from nature. Would have been nice to have a lounger in the sun room rather than just chairs. Not many other pluses. We tried to get connected to Internet. The welcome book didn't seem to match the house. The descriptions were off. There were at least 5 remotes but none of them did anything. Only one turned off and on the TV. TV was activated through Roku....
