"Hotel Volcano is in a great location close to shopping, food, and the beach. We had a lovely stay here and the included breakfast was great. We had some difficulty booking from outside the country though. Even through I booked through hotels.com, they made me call and pay with my card by phone which I didn’t feel comfortable with. In the end everything worked out but I booked through hotels.com to avoid putting my card info out there. "

"We liked this place a lot! The rooms are very pretty and well designed, and the sunset view from the top veranda is really nice with a super-friendly host. The guesthouse is small (3-4 rooms) and located only a block from the beach--you can walk everywhere. My daughter had the top room, which seems newer and has great views, but the middle room (used by me and my husband) is larger and has a minifridge- convenient for snacks and water. Both rooms were very clean and had nice bathrooms and AC....

It’s a great apartment, with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a great room downstairs with direct access to the beach. However, I cannot get past the deceit. It’s advertised as a 10-bedroom hotel, with consierge service (there’s none), pool (there isn’t one), plasma TV (no TV), WiFi (didn’t work any of the six days we spent here), etc. They did have cleaning service daily, which was very nice and they did a great...

"Really nice place to stay, very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The food was excellent. Good advice and booking for tours. Location is a short walk from main centre, a few mins, but that makes it nice and quiet. Close to harbour so easy access from ferry."

"Fraud hotel. Tried to contact before checkin however number is not operational and there is no email. Hotels.com wasn't able to contact them either, yet they still charged my card. Going through a dispute with card company now. Avoid at all costs"
