"The location of this hotel is very good,walking distance to restaurants, shops and main attractions.From our room we could see the dome of the cathedral and the bell tower. I will never forget the sound of rain falling on the tiled roofs and the sound of church bells.The hotel staff were great, they could not have been more helpful. The bed was comfortable.The bathroom although small is manageable. Remember you are staying in a building built in the 1500s. I would welcome a return to this...

"The bathroom in our triple room was very narrow. We can smell an occasional sewer smell. The pillows are flat. Otherwise, the hotel is great. The staff are nice too. We do like the location because it was walking distance to the train station which made our trip from Venice and our trip to Rome very easy. It is also so close to the main attractions and restaurants."

The breakfast options were a bit limited but quite tasty. The service was wonderful. The only reason for a couple four star instead of all five star is because the hotel is definitely going through some upgrades. This is not a bad thing as it will be even better in the near future. It was just a bit noticeable this trip. "
