"Old and run down, unclean with mould in the shower and obvious dirt and grime build up on the walls. Carpet stained and filthy. Cutlery and plates left were dirty and couldn’t use. So many long emails sent with info not relevant to this facility (4 in one day). "

"This motel was satisfactory for our one night stay. Checking in was easy and Michael was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but a bit dated. The beds were comfortable. The only negative for us was the ancient airconditioner on the wall. It could not be programmed with the remote and we had to ask Michael to set the temperature for us. During the night when it cut in it sounded like a helicopter taking off and woke us up repeatedly. Eventually we had to just turn it off and hope the room...

"Beautiful place! A nice cottage surrounded by trees and birds. If you want want to decompress and turn off from the world, this is the place. It still has wi-fi and TV, so bring your Chromecast or Fire TV stick. Location is gorgeous, right in the middle of the forest. Even though there are some wineyards nearby, it is about 15 minutes from the main area in Pokolbin. We were greeted with a breakfast basket and the cottage was very good (number 3). "Aussie Rest Motel was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Right round the corner from a great pub that served as awesome food. Great for overnight or a couple of days wine tasting."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, close to the centre, and within a 10-15 minute drive to most of the wineries we visited. One small issue - there are several heaters in some of the rooms, however the main bedroom has no heater. It would be good to have one there."
