"Hotel was lovely, rooms were fantastic as I think they had just been renovated. The food was great, we had breakfast each day and dined in the restaurant too. The only downside, and this is not a negative as it’s totally necessary to keep to the high standards they set, was that the downstairs bar was closed for refurbishment. As said, if it improves the place even more then fantastic. We are touring at the moment and doing three nights in each location and to date this has been my favourite. Not just because of the effort the hotel and staff put in to make your stay enjoyable but also the lovely town of Celle. The hotel is about half an hour walk away but the hotel even offer a free bus service if you don’t fancy walking. We didn’t use it but again it’s the attention to detail that mounts up to a great experience. Good work team, this stay will be hard to beat!"

"We had a wonderful one night stay here in October 2023. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The breakfast was perfect. "

"Staff lacking friendliness. Balcony to be shared with neighbour without notification or any kind of separation outside. Was locked out of my room once late in the evening after key card had not been re- activated after I previously made sure my extension had been recognised at reception twice ( sincerity received no confirmation email). Had to call an emergency number who opened the door. No apology st the reception the next morning, only after I asked for one. Hotel could have had a great review from me, was it not for this occasion, the handling of it and variety of staff attitude ( from very nice to arrogant). Breakfast was average with the same for my entire stay, tables often not set up properly. I stayed for 11 days and not sure I would stay here again. The children‘s playground, once done with love and great skill, is neglected. However, great buildings, animals around and a wonderful setting. Pity about some staff. "
