"This is a very new hotel so the facilities were excellent. Breakfast is available, it has a bar but doesn't have a restaurant. There are a few restautants within walking distance. Onsite free parking is very useful as we were a group of 9 motorcyclists."
"We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. All rather hit & miss.
Room was clean & comfortable. The problem was it was poorly ventilated & very stuffy with no air con - a fan helped but it was still difficult to sleep. Not helped by being unable to turn off the bathroom light - I guess it used a motion sensor but it was a good 10 minutes before the light went off. Tended to disturb sleep after visiting the bathroom at night.
Much the same with dinner. The langoustine starter was...
"We were there for one night only, our anniversary. We had a lovely time, lovely location and very helpful staff. Really enjoyed the balcony looking out on to the fountain roundabout."
"Exceptionally helpful staff. Free private and secure garage = peace of mind. Walking distance of railway station so will use again when travelling by train."
"The room was clean with tea/coffee making facilities. A good view of the town. The attached restaurant was very nice, as was the food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with fresh bread, cheeses, coffee, juices, cold meat selection, jams, yoghurt. Very nice. Bathroom very clean and heating was very welcome on a very cold day."
"Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel. Personal sehr freundlich. Absoluter Geheimtipp. "
"We arrived at the hotel to find it closed and half derelict. Despite taking our money, the hotel had clearly not been used for a considerable time and was completely closed
We are now attempting to get a refund via Expedia"
