Our room was spotless, well-equipped and supremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. There is very little you would walk to from here, but if you have a car this is an excellent stop.

Great place. Best dinner of our trip during the Tour de France. Pool was very nice. So was the grounds of the hotel. The staff was also great. Perhaps the best night of our trip traveling along with the Tour de France.

Service was impeccable! We loved the elegant grounds, and dinner was delicious.

A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the...

Very nice hosts with great food and wonderful breakfast. Fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, fresh cut fruit salad.

Try the foie gras at the restaurant-fabulous! Breakfasts were delicious as well.

We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

Hôtel Bien-Être Aux Cyprès de Marquay is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character. What made our stay truly special was Mario. He was incredibly...

Can't recommend highly enough. Jean Francois & Joelle were fabulous hosts with a wonderful property that they have finished to perfection.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.

The staff was friendly and engaging, and the property grounds are just lovely - sandstone patios and walks leading into views of the village cliffs.

Nice room with excellent bathroom and shower. Family run with love and care. Lovely setting, charming. Excellent, beautiful restaurant. Check in was very friendly with fully fluent English. There is a pool but we did not use it.

Our stay at “au pays de Jacquou” was absolutely wonderful. Somehow remote, but also close enough (7 km) to Thenon, the village where we attended a wedding. Staff (the owners themselves and their little daughter) was very helpful and very kind. It happened that they were invited to the wedding as well! So cool! Continental Breakfast was included in our stay. The room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The environment was very quiet. When I go back to Dordogne in...

We were there one night and I wish we could have spent more time there. The room is private and conveniently located--plus, it's pretty, comfortable, and brand new. Breakfast was delicious. The host was welcoming, helpful, and very nice. We would stay there again.

Serviceable room, there are sign of wear and tear. No shampoo/conditioner but everything else was great.

Our room was lovely, spacious, very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Great reception staff. Perfect English !!!
