They were both exceptional. We booked for one night due to late flight in Heraklion. They were both extremely friendly and helpful after busy day of traveling. Rooms were spotless. "Pros: Beautiful grounds, unique property, very clean and economical friendly. View of sea from balcony, walk to beach and local restaurants. Cons: limited street parking on side street only, then enter through front gate. Mattress really hard."

"We had the only ground floor room with a patio door to the pool. They turn music on early in the morning. Unfortunately guests used our patio as a smoking room, quite annoying."

"Decent three star resort, rooms are appropriate and clean, food was enough, mostly ok. We missed a more authentic Greek menu. Except for the breakfast coffee and juices, drinks need to be bought, even something as simple as water and ice. All other beach services are separatedly charged including sunbeds and umbrella. Kudos to the personnel who made the stay very enjoyable. "

"We stayed three nights, one longer than planned, because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Spacious and very clean and fresh appartement with a well equipped kitchenette for a reasonable price. Very pleasant and service-oriented owner who also quickly helped us with a medical problem. We had an apartment with a perfect jacuzzi. The only problem you may experience is that it is very steep up to the apartment with many steps. But then you get a wonderful view! "

"The hotel has spectacular views. That's about the end of the good. The bathroom was less than desirable, the open shower was directly next to the toilet that flooded when we showered. We requested additional towels to soak up the water and were told NO. The 2 towels we were provided were uncomfortable and scratchy. The "king" bed was two small beds pushed together and made separately with sheets so if you wanted to sleep next to your partner you would fall between the beds as they...

"I enjoyed my vacation at Lyda Club Hotel. The room was so clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day. The food which was buffet style was pretty good. I liked the snack bar where they had barbecue almost every evening. Sometimes they had pasta. Overall, it was good and convenient. The staff is nice and friendly. I recommend it. "
