"Livikon is a cute bay front property. Our room overlooked the water. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. Unfortunately there is not much to do in the area as Safkion seems to be a small port/fishing town. However the people were friendly and thankfully we had a car to explore the southern regions of Crete. If you stay here, be sure to eat breakfast at the small bakery behind the hotel. The pastries were amazing. "

"The hotel is beautifully designed and maintained. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The location was quite a shock as the hotel is situated in a 2 km stretch of restaurants, souvenir shops, and noisy clubs across from the beach. We would have preferred a quaint setting in the Old Town."

"Great hotel in a good location on the edge og the old town, 2 mins from the Venetian Port. I was only B&B so I can only comment on the breakfasts but they where really good. Very nice Apart Room, bedroom and living area and nice to have a fridge for milk and beers. If you are visiting Rethymno its a great place to stay and Rethymno itself is lovely. "

"Ive stayed at countless hotels for work and nothing compares to here. From start to finish there was not one issue, got upgraded to a suite, stunning room immaculate views amazing location, breakfast was incredible and the staff had character and charm. I'll happily book this place when I next come to rethymno. What I will say though is if you get a room with a hot tub turn it on before you leave for dinner it takes about 3 hours to heat up. me and my partner left it till really late and didn't...

"I would like to recommend this hotel. It's safe and good for kids. Staffs were friendly, specially hotel manager was very helpful. Breakfast and dinner was also good with different choices. Rethynmo centre is not far from hotel, you can find bus outside hotel (Euro 1.20). You can find excursion/travel agency outside hotel (buses will pick you from outside of hotel) if you don't have car."

"Lovely quiet modern hotel. Staff excellent and friendly Pool superb, but surrounding buildings compromise full sun. Walking distance to waterfront beaches and restaurants and Old Town."

"Amazing hotel, located next to the beach (just need to cross the road). Very friendly staff and attentive. One evening there were rain and they offered us umbrella and there was other small details to make our stay better. We had a room with sea view. Room was clean, had fridge and electric stove, so you can warm your food. Also they had plates and cutlery. There is no parking next to the hotel, but we find a space just in 2 minutes walk. City centre is in walking distance. "

"A great location on the northeast edge of the old town and very close to (paid) parking lot. It's clean, quiet and convenient to everything in old town. This time we stayed on the ground floor which you might prefer if you have trouble climbing stairs."

"Spent 4 nights at the apartments. We stayed in July so were aware of the property. There were only us and another friendly couple staying here as it was getting to the end of the season. The rooms weren't cleaned during this time or fresh sheets and the bins weren't emptied. We disposed of the bathroom bin contents. We are aware there's no cleaner over the weekend, so maybe be provided with more bin bags and a bin to dispose of them in. We'd still happily stay here again."

Fresh towels and bed linen mid week, unprompted texts suggesting places to visit, offers of help when I was unwell, daily bin emptying and toilet roll replenishment and offers of coffee whenever at the pool area. Local restaurants superb and reasonably priced. Warm sea to swim in. Pool area clean and plenty of sun-beds. Loads of free parking. I would stay here again."
