"We had a good stay at Pan Nam Resort. Staff were wonderful and worked hard on the English. (I had to use a translator app).
We had no hand towels nor hand soap in the bathroom. The bath fixtures are very dated and in need of repair. The shower dripped day and night so we had to keep the door closed so we could sleep.

"The room was clean and was just ideal for an overnight stay before we catch the boat to Koh Lipe in the morning. The staff were very welcoming, they can converse in English and Malay. Location is perfect for the boat to Koh Lipe, around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the area - good seafood restaurants. There is a 7 Eleven nearby too.
I would strongly suggest that do not book the boat ticket direct from the hotel to avoid any issue trying to board at the...

Reached resort on 28/3/19 after long drive from Malaysia to check-in but was told they don't have rooms for us although we have booked, confirmed & paid to Expedia. They ask us to go to another resort (owned by her brother) but we refused. The only thing good is that they agreed to refund the full amount that I've paid to Expedia.
