"Lovely hotel - room was very comfortable, staff very pleasant. Much more upscale than your usual Greek hotel and a good price. Free welcome drink on arrival - however they wouldn’t allow a G and T which was a shame! Spacious balcony and nice sea view. Would highly recommend :-) "

"The location is excellent for a short drive to the popular Balos and falasarna beaches. We choose the room with a seaview which was worth it. What make our stay exceptional was definitely due to the the staff. They were all super helpful, always courteous and with a smile, knowledgeable about the local town ready with suggestions when asked. The beach downstairs is fine especially if you have small children or do not wish to travel too far for a beach. I definitely recommend this hotel."

"Thalassa apartments was awesome! It was super quiet and we enjoyed looking at the view. If you’re looking for something more lively, maybe travel closer to Rethymno. This town was very quiet and not too many places to go. However we still enjoyed it thoroughly! "

The hotel is very remote, no food, taverns, groceries within walking distance. beds were old and very uncomfortable, and overall we felt very unsafe in this location and left after one miserable night.
