(Didn’t know that was a thing in a hotel restaurant but is apparently a thing in Iceland as it happened at two other places we stayed after this. Lesson learned.) Very remote but convenient for where we were traveling. Breakfast was good as well. Staff were all very friendly."

"The cottages are similar to what you would have found at original North American cottages years ago. The living space was big enough for a family with some newer furniture. The rooms are small with bunk beds, and barely space for small suitcases. One of the bunks in our room was missing a rung on the ladder which wasn’t the best.
