"This hotel was convenient to the train station and fine for a short stay. The rooms have not been updated recently and the furniture and carpets show their age. The bathroom is tiny and two persons will have to take turns using it. However, the rooms are very clean, as is the lobby and reception area. "Stayed one night after taking a train down from Fukuoka to check out the city. Very close to the train station so I could store my luggage at the station before checking in to the hotel. I checked in later in the day after arriving to Kagoshima in the AM. Check in was very simple and quick. Desk clerk understood my Japanese/English mix. Some descent restaurants in the area. Room was comfortable for one. Stayed in many APA hotels in Japan. Inexpensive room but I’m not hanging out in the room...

"Rooms are clean and functional. My room had a view of Sakurajima. Rooms facing the train tracks will have noise, so bring ear plugs. Location is easy 1-minute walk from train station. You also have easy access to AMU Plaza shopping mall, which has so many dining options and a ferris wheel. Also, easy underground access to AEON grocery store. "

"The building and the room are clean and fine, but the location was far enough from the airport that you would absolutely need a taxi to get to the airport. However, you’re supposed to make a taxi RSVP at least 48 hours before the date you need it. Local taxis are usually fully booked by early RSVPs, and wont be able to come pick you up like you would expect. I didn’t know that till I arrived at the Inn late in the evening, and I needed a taxi in the next morning fairly early. So I had to figure...

"The breakfast is good. Washing machine is a plus point. The room is spacious. Take a while to locate the hotel from the train station otherwise, it is nice hotel among neighbourhood areas. "
