"Decent hotel, albeit budget version. Decor was very nice and they provided both shampoo and conditioner which is increasingly rare. Rooms are only cleaned every other day, we got a loud knock on the door on cleaning day at 8:20am! We were not expecting it that early so missed out on the cleaning! No kettle or drinks but you can order at the bar (( for a fee)"

"Really nice place to stay. Excellent location centrally located to the train station and city. If you have to be collected from the hotel by a colleague or limousine you need to arrange a pick up place nearby the hotel as buses and taxis can only enter the roads outside the hotel. Room was comfortable and had what I needed. Breakfast included is a nice touch and is very good. Reception offered very good service and support and I appreciated that. "

"Overall one night stop over stay was good. Hotel is clean and modern with a grocery store convenient located in front. However good signage would help as we just come off a huge roundabout and there are so many structures blocking the view of the hotel from the road that one is not sure where to enter to reach the hotel. "This property was conveniently located near ZHR airport (approx. 10 min. by taxi) and the Kloten train station (less than a 5 min. walk). I imagine caters more to business travelers than tourists. Hence, the surrounding neighborhood wasn't exactly what you would call picturesque. The view from the rear of the hotel inside its restaurant was of railroad tracks and an old industrial building. Nonetheless, the hotel itself, its restaurant, its staff, and its other amenities, along with its spacious modernly furnished rooms provided a most comfortable and enjoyable stay for me and my wife. If you don't want to pay for more expensive hotels in Zurich's city center and don't mind taking a 15 min. train ride or a 20 min. taxi to get there, then I would highly recommend Hotel Allegra Lodge."
