"This property is in need of significant maintenance. As we walked through the front entrance, we noticed that part of the roof above the entryway was missing, which made for a poor first impression.

"Rooms were very basic. There was only one curtain in the window which only has two hooks one at either end and it was torn and stained. Paid for the hotel when I booked it but I received a phone call from a foreign woman in the afternoon stating that I hadn’t paid and demanding to know what time I was arriving. "Lovely small and homely hotel .Had a comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view out to sea.The toilet and shower could do with being upgraded but was still clean and acceptable.The staff were excellent and very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast we had was very tasty and well prepared.I would especially recommend the Cullen skink.
We enjoyed a walk along the beach on a lovely evening which we needed after our very delicious and filling evening meal."
"We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept!
