Great pub with lovely rooms and excellent food

"Great welcome, lovely dog friendly old pub with large garden. Our rooms were large and comfortable with excellent beds, tea making facilities, good WIFI and everything we needed. Dinner was excellent with everything we ordered being very tasty. All the staff were lovely and friendly too. Brilliant draught cider selection of Thatchers Gold, Sheppy's and Exmoor brewery cider. Had an issue with one room unexpectedly not having been cleaned but they sorted perfectly with a free drink while they found another room and put dinner back for us. Note with the windows open it was a bit noisy at the front (can't be helped with an A road going right past!) so request a room at the back if needed. Highly recommended, we would definitely return!"
