"Lovely grounds and easy walk to the Castle . The room was built with bunks for kids, but as a couple we found if quite roomy. The breakfast buffet was good with fresh watermelon and pineapple a nice treat."
"Was clearly an old premier inn, they had started to modernize, will be great when finished. Booked due to the Wacky Warehouse, however it was closed about 2 hours earlier than advertised which left a sad child but the pudding in the pub sorted that out."
"The breakfast was very poor. We got down for breakfast around 9am and there was nothing useful left to eat. We raised this with the staff and they confirmed, despite a cold breakfast offering, they ran out of pastries. Only 1 pot of yoghurt was left for a family of 3, handful of slices of bread, we had to request hot water for Tea (can’t be that cold of a breakfast!), the juice ran out and only 1 apple was left. It was really dire.

"Hotel overall feels very tired and run and down. Nobody at reception when we arrived and no button or bell to call. Room decor was ok but there were stains on wall and we had a view of a wall and it was very dark. Breakfast was very good but zero atmosphere. All the fire doors are very annoying and they wake you when you are sleeping."
