"Great location in city centre with lots of shopping, eating and bus connections close. Minimalist style rooms. The breakfast was good with lots of choice options. I room lighting was poor. Impossible to go makeup in the bathroom and no good lighting in the bedroom to do it either! Housekeeping sometimes missed brining clean towels, emptying the waste baskets and switching out our dirty mugs! Otherwise a good place to stay."
"Every thing was fine. The problem was with the parking. Although we were supposed to get a discounted rate, the parking charged me in full, 41 Euro.
The gentleman receptionist said he can’t do anything we need to call the parking and ask for refund. I asked him the phone number of the parking and he provided a number that unfortunately was not in service. I am not happy about this."
"Right from checking in the staff were so friendly and helpful, even remembering your name and room number through your stay.
The room was beautiful, clean, airy and had everything you could need in it and it was replenished daily.
The restaurant staff were so lovely and even let me reserve the same table for breakfast each day which meant alot.
You have to try out the roof terrace too it is such a beautiful space and so peaceful.

"The location was perfect for walking to all the attractions in Cobh and the train station for a quick hop into Cork for additional siteseeing. The onsite restaurant was great. This place really is on the water's edge! Lovely view out my window of the harbor and cruise ships entering and exiting. Quiet, restful. A calming retreat. Solo female traveler in her late 60s."

"Hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the harbour. Beautiful views with a short downhill walk to town. Walking back uphill though is a challenge as it’s a pretty steep climb"

"The location was good and the property manager communicated well, and that was all of the "good" I could find. Moldy smell, wifi didn't work. Curtains falling off, and the worst was no sheets, just a mattress cover and there was a hair on the pillow. Needless to say I left. I did not stay. If you have any mobility issues at all, not good. The stairs to the loft bed steep. There is a sign stating to back down. Would not recommend"

Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not.
