"We checked into abbey hotel very kind front desk , updated room , wonderful staff . Great bar good food . Just beware parking is off site wasn’t to far and was very reasonable."
"The property was very clean and would suit 2/3 couples or a larger family. The only drawback is the small garden, but with such gorgeous beaches a short drive away we didn't worry too much about not being able to access outside space. We really enjoyed the close proximity to amenities in Ardara, as the wee town has a number of pubs, cafes and shops all within walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to Ardara - we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed everything the area...
"Was not clear in the description that the building is actually divided into 3 units. We booked the 3 bedrooms only to realise it's upstairs. And is a big con for a disabled visitor. The flight up is okay but imagine if you can't climb up the stairs! Each bedroom had their tiny individual shower rooms. "Very dated rooms and especially the bathroom. Poor ventilation. Food was just ok. Very unfriendly, especially for this region of Ireland. Good mattress and nice facade."
"Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming."
"Sean's house is a lovely, cosy place with three very good sized bedrooms and a kitchen with everything you might need. There is the option to light a fire in the sitting room making it an even cosier place. The views are incredible and there is a beach nearby. Unfortunately we had a traffic accident and did not get to fully appreciate the area but it did not take away from the beauty of the location. I would like to point out that it is a very rural location and public transport including taxis...
"From the minute I arrived this was just the perfect place to stay. The dome was spotless, cozy and just one of the best spaces I’ve stayed in ever. The private hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved staying here."
