"My go to for staying in Hobart. Such wonderful staff, a dedicated park out the back of hotel (that does cost an extra amount but hey it’s city centre and street floor) give me that rather than 5 or 6 on multi-storey parking. Rooms run down but fine for just for a night or 2 to access the Royal Hobart hospital. Lots of eating places near by as with chemist and supermarket. "

"Downhill walk in to Hobart which was good exercise and only about 10 mins. $6 taxi ride back. Excellent value for money & I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Hobart. "

"This is a comfortable place to stay for catching that early flight. Rooms have all you need and microwave and toaster. Towels in bathroom are lovely and soft. Would stay here again, especially for the excellent food in the cafe. Great value for money all round. "

"Hotel Alabama was perfect for my one night stay in Hobart. Very helpful and friendly staff, a welcoming environment, and a comfortable room. Even though it was a shared bathroom it was very tidy and I never had to share the space with anyone. They provided glass jugs of water and cups in the hallway, and luggage storage all day. Ample closet space if you want to hang clothes, and even a little desk/vanity. I would definitely stay here again. Chocolates on the pillow were a nice touch too :) "

"Absolutely brilliant. The most peaceful place to stay with nature and wildlife right there on the doorstep. This is not a 5 star hotel with room service and in-house movies, this is a place to reconnect with your loved ones and the environment. No TV makes you talk to each other without any distractions. My wife and I laughed about how long it had been since we sat down and ate together with no background noise. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone that likes the...
