"Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village."

"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."

"The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast."

"The location was excellent and the amenities are fantastic."

"Great people and breakfast"

"The staff were friendly and helpful and the Inn is really good. There was a lot of noise until past 1am which was unfortunate and kept us awake but as the bar was shut I’m not sure what the staff could have done to stop it."

"If you enjoy the Welsh countryside views, this is the place to stay! We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our brief stay."

"The cabin was warm and comfortable It was well equiped. The road getting to it was narrow but manageable with care. The road surface was good. The view from the front was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Ruth is a fantastic host and her breakfast is first rate, fantastic produce and cooked to perfection. The bedrooms are exceptionally clean and it makes you feel like you are at home, great location to visit all the sites in the area. Pubs cafes on your doorstep, well worth a stay."

"Beautiful character with original features and plenty of space for a large group. The hot tub overlooking the stunning setting was the icing on the cake. Would thoroughly recommend."
