"I booked a king size bed. What i got was 2 singles pushed together with a sheet on top. As the beds weren't fastened together they came apart in the night. The mattresses were also different thickness which made for a very uncomfortable night.
The hotel did refund half the cost"
"For some reason they gave us a wheel chair room. We enjoyed the added space, but the sink was low and there was a lack of shelves, hangars and table and chairs. The Breakfast was not included and was 15 pd.s each for coffee, yogurt fruit and toast that you made yourself. That's $60 CDN for breakfast. The location was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating."
"OK hotel for an overnight stay as it's close to the airport. 1st room smelled of smoke, although supposed to be non smoking. On complaining we were quickly changed to another better room. Staff friendly and helpful. Food average"
"We thought we had booked a room for 3 adults for one night turns out it was only booked for 2 and we had to pay an additional £175 for an extra person. Thought it was a bit steep. Had an early flight and although there was some breakfast choice available, it would have been better if there had been take away cups for coffee and some muffins or pastries just to grab and go. Fiona who checked us in was very pleasant although we weren't too happy to have to pay the additional £175."
"It’s conveniently located, central to everything. Upper floors were quiet and it’s a place to sleep. Just know that. Its affordability slightly outweighs its detractors.
The pillows were… the lumpiest & flattest you will encounter. The rooms are exhausted. The lift was an annoyance, one was flat out of service, the other didn’t go to the lobby. It was a game of button pressing and riding up to go down. Staff gave no warning of this.
I think because of its affordability, it’s a sort of...
"Very fine Georgian property in the centre of the old town with welcoming and helpful staff. Facilities disappointing, no WiFi in rooms, no fridge, rather tired decorations. Needs some money spent to update a lovely old building.
Stirling well recommended for Castle and Old Prison tour, wonderful buildings and lovely green setting."
"Absolutely wonderful experience! I loved it from the moment we walked in to the moment we love. Staff were amazing, decor was divine, very thoughtful design overall. My only complaint is that the room was extremely dusty, but that’s a very easy fix 😉"
