"Very nice modern comfortable rooms. New bathrooms and very clean. Very welcoming and friendly reception from Peter and helpful advice on storing bikes in nearby garage overnight. Great breakfast included. Overall very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. "

"Lovely hotel not far from the Rhine. Staff were very friendly & spoke English well. The public rooms are lovely & lovely terraces to sit out on & enjoy a drink. Dinner was absolutely fabulous, they are obviously have a fantastic chef & team. Room was a bit disappointing, small but fairly functional but nowhere to do hair & makeup & layout any toiletries. Manageable for 1 night but will book a bigger room next time "

While checking in, the owner offered a welcome drink and made a personal connection. The hotel and room was clean. The bed was comfortable.. "Our room was fantastic! We had a terrace overlooing the river, very nice! The town has lots of dining and shopping and sightseeing, and is very walkable. The castle was just OK, but we've been in quite a few castles. This is a good 1880's restoration, and was a nice experience. The local wine is delicious!!!!!"

"My stay here was absolutely magical. A room stay includes afternoon tea, breakfast buffet, a ticket to the museum, and access to the castle grounds. We also had dinner at the onsite restaurant - everything was delicious!"

"Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. The only issue I encountered was no hot water in the shower for a couple days, but they fixed ASAP as soon as they knew about it. A short commute by regional rail or...

"Large spacious room staff at check in and restaurant exceptional. My first time ever after staying in 100's of hotels at breakfast our table was set with a porcelain name plaque with our name on it and a hot pot of coffee. If i could i would give it a 6 star in this 900 year old town. PROST"
