"Great place to stay. Very clean staff were great. Only negative was that wifi was out for our 2 night stay. Great breakfast and pool was very nice. A wee bit out of the way, no shops or restaurants nearby, but very quiet and relaxing."
"We had an amazing stay. The family room was spacious and nice. Every attraction is in walking distance, which is great since our kids 7 y.o. and 9 y.o. don’t want to walk too much. ;)
The staff at The Fourt House is perfectly accomodating and made our stay even better due to their heartwarming art. The breakfast was outstanding!"
"Initially put in annexe - terrible , bizarre huge fish tank causing smells throughout building - rooms dated and sub standard.
Stayed one night but then We moved rooms - helpful staff enabled - new rooms better but this is a fairly run down hotel in need of refit"
"★★★★★ Perfekter Aufenthalt!
Absolute Empfehlung!"
"We were disappointed with Sandy Bliss. We booked a Superior Double with a King bed and Sea Views - our room was an obstructed/partial sea view, but mostly street view with significant street noise. (photo). The hotel is set behind another building, so few rooms will have unobstructed views as advertised.
I requested to move to a sea view room but was told this was the room I booked, despite the clear discrepancy between listing and reality. They eventually offered a room with a better sea view...
"The staff and management made us feel welcome and comfortable. The view from the room is amazing. Absolutely a perfect location for a visit to Galle."
"Best part of the experience
Clean room and attentive staff.
Areas for improvement
Frequent electricity power cuts, wall plug sockets not designed optimally. Doesn’t include breakfast like most hotel at this price."
"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is right on the water and you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. It is located close to many shops and restaurants. We had a delicious breakfast each day with a choice of Euro-American food and Sri Lankan food. We had a wonderful assistant in the person of Asuri. She was doing everything: front of house, breakfast, room service and more. The pool was lovely, despite the odd shark-dolphin sculptural oddity (a shower for children). The rooms were...
"The room is soo clean and is in a prime area and all the amenities are easily accessible. The staff manager is super helping. Will definitely recommend the place."
"What a fantastic little hotel in Mirissa. The fresh fruit selection at breakfast was amazing. Waking up in a four-poster bed and stepping onto a balcony overlooking the beach and coconut trees was an absolute joy. The pool was lovely, and from the balcony you could even see Coconut Tree Hill.
The location is perfect—within walking distance of Coconut Tree Hill, Mirissa Beach, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops, and spas. Tuk-tuks are easy to find if you want to explore further, but...
