Hot drink machine available at breakfast but water machine available 24 hours a day. Booking in easy, done by computer and it had English translation. Central for shops, trains, bars and food places. "Generally satisfied, room bigger than many other such rooms - but Tokushima is not prime real estate. Bed was a bit hard, as was the pillow, and two pillows would have been nice, not just one!. Also, disappointed that it was a conte\inental breakfast only - though it was fine, would have likes a mixed continental and Japanese offering. Only one downside - no tea at breakfast, Japanese or Indian!!!! Not everyone drinks coffee! Next time - Tea please!!!!!"

"The rooms of this hotel are small, but they are amazing and have everything you would want and more. It is also a fantastic position, just a stones throw from the central station and the main shopping areas, food places. If you haven't a car, you are going to travel a lot by train, so this is the perfect spot. There is also a very convenient bus that goes straight from the airport to the station. The hotel staff are amazing and very helpful and polite. Be warned they don't speak much English,...

"We stayed at Tsubaki House en route to Kamikatsu. It was a nice change from hotel rooms. An entire house with nice water view exactly as per the photos. The property is very private and accessed by a narrow road. Staff that handled check in and check out super friendly and proactive. They were very helpful. Take some food for BBQ. There are some places to eat in driving distance. Great place to stay for a family or small group."
