I booked a family room, which seemed to be vacate for a long time. There are many hairs on the bed sheets. Even spider nests were build-up on the corner of the wall. "

"This is an older charming hotel situated next to the water that surrounds Lubeck. Because of the age of the building, there was no air conditioning. Our room got stuffy at night. We faced a busy street, so did not want traffic noise and kept the door to the balcony closed. I suspect it would be very warm in the heat of summer. But staff were very pleasant and accommodating. "The hotel is perfectly located for the old city. We had the Deluxe Room and all the details were perfect - bathrobes, slippers, two sinks, huge shower and bath with luxurious toiletries. The decor was modern with a hint of tradition. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We could hear birds in the morning and the bells of the cathedral. Wonderful sunset over the city skyline. A truly luxurious, indulgent and relaxing stay"

"Nice small family hotel in the middle of town, good breakfast and close to the harbour. the hotel had everything you could ask for to be 3 stars. All signs and information were only in German. The pillow on the bed was very soft and thin, we asked for two extra pillows. But we got a blanket instead. :) Otherwise everything was good."
