"Excellent hotel. Great, quiet location, close to restaurants and jetty. Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Clean, spacious room. Good hot water showers. Free bicycles available. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Nice hotell with excellent service. Located away from the tourist attractions, but the hotel offers free shuttle into the centre. "

"Not a bad place like it"

"Despite the loss of business over the last few years they have mangaged to maintain a high standard of sevice etc. "

"This hotel was great value for money. The family who runs it are super lovely, the breakfast was fantastic and the room had the best view. Its such a good choice. We choose to stay one night of our stay in the area at an expensive hotel on the lake will it was lovely we do wish we had spent another night at Mothers Home and saved our money."

"It's a budget hotel, so everything is pretty basic, but importantly, everything works and is certainly comfortable enough. Staff were friendly and very helpful, even with limited English. Location is a bit outside the centre, but perfect for the (Fire) Balloon Festival being a 5-10 minute walk from the launcing site at Awayyar Fire Balloon Field."

"This was a great place to stay in the town of Inle Lake. Right next to the jetty where the boats depart from. The boats start about 6:00 a.m. and finish about 10:00 p.m. They are noisy but it didn’t bother us too much. Friendly staff and very obliging. The hotel organised a 6 hr boat trip for us so we didn’t have to navigate the sellers next to the jetty ($18 for 3 people for the day)."

"Spa was good, although I would not reccomend the manicure."

"I was disappointed with NO internet or very slow and inconsistent connection."

"Generally ok. Need some refurbishment for safety reason"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal Kalaw Hills Resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was personal and everyone was very attentive. Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. Thank you all for a lovely visit!"
