"as amazing as siguriya itself is, and it is, the staff at king's resort were the highlight. nothing was too much trouble, true professional hospitality, it was great. we were there for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made it special. sri lanka is amazing. truely. did i mention the plunge pool? you'll prob want to get that. the big pool is brilliant but the plunge pool, for us, was really special"
"A touch of paradise! The host and his family gave us the warmest welcome in the world. The room was spacious and spotless. Despite being in the forest, there wasn’t a single ant or mosquito in the room. It had the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a lovely balcony overlooking lush greenery. Breakfast was served on the balcony every morning at our preferred time, and was undoubtedly the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel around the world. I had informed them in advance that I was coming...
"Beautiful place, very clean and accommodating for our three families during our short stay. Host was exceptional kind and helped navigate the space and surrounding areas during our first visit to Sigriya. Breakfast was also delicious. Wished that we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to Others, pictures show true representation of the place."
"Our hosts were welcoming and delightful. The hospitality made our visit of Sigiriya most memorable. The rooms were clean and the food was fresh and delicious.
With ease of access to the restaurants, and of course Lion's Rock, we took in the sunrise from a most impressive ancient civilization!
Highly recommended."
"Stunning spot overlooking a lake where elephants have been every morning and evening of our stay (can’t see them that well in the evening!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff and the food they prepare , whether breakfast, or if you ask lunch or dinner, is extremely tasty and plentiful. We cancelled our plans and stayed an extra night it was that good. Cannot recommend enough."
"Very welcoming and service minded staff. Cozy and calm atmosphere with clean rooms and a new nice swimming pool. Good food. I can really recommend this place when visiting Sigiriya! "
"A very beautiful property tucked inside a jungle. We had a wonderful stay in a tree house and loved waking up with the birds chirping in the trees. Staff was very helpful throughout our entire stay. The lion rock is only 15 mins away."
"Trivelig plass, men litt slitt. Seng som knirker, og ikke noe påfyll av vann o.l. de 3 overnattingene vi hadde der. Du må ta med alt av snacks og annet du måtte ønske."
"De har desværre ikke styr på meget her og overbooker nok bevidst deres hytter.
Da vi ankom blev vi anvist en hytte som det så viste sig vi kun kunne have 1 nat hvorefter vi skulle flytte værelse. Vi endte med at blive refunderet for den sidste nat og fandt et andet dejlig sted."
"Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The Traditional Tree House Room, gracefully nestled high among the trees, offered breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic Sigiriya Rock, creating a truly magical and unforgettable experience.
Waking up to the stunning scenery, surrounded by the tranquility of nature, was an absolute luxury. The room beautifully blended traditional Sri Lankan charm with modern comfort, providing a unique and peaceful retreat.

"L’hôtel vient de changer de propriétaire. Le couple est très accueillant et veillera à vous apporter satisfaction. Le site a été laissé à l’abandon par le propriétaire précédent et ils sont en train de le remettre en état."
"Sudu Araliya is located on the banks of the Parakrama Samudraya. It’s extensive gardens offer a peaceful place for relaxation. There is a very nice and sturdy tree house with a couple of benches and tables. A lovely place for children to play and adults to relax. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and attentive and our requests were taken care of promptly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with many typical Sri Lankan foods. We only spent one night there but planning...
