"While the property was nice, the desk manager that we encountered was so incredibly rude, condescending and unprofessional, gave us the absolute runaround and would not allow us to check in at 3:20pm when check-in is at 3. He stated our room was not ready, he had no idea when it would be ready, and would not give an inkling as to when we should return to check in. My family, including active military back stateside from overseas, planned a nice weekend at the beach… which was ruined by the staff...

"We really enjoyed staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Jacksonville Beach! Such wonderful staff. We even scored some yummy cookies! They accommodated our needs from before we arrived all the way through check out. We swam in the pool, hung out in the hot tub and were even able to rent beach bikes right on the property. It was a great experience. This is not our first stay here and we will most definitely be back!!"

"I looked for cheap, and you get what pay for. Admittedly, the hotel is a 101 year old classic with charm and management is giving the place a few upgrades, but the property could use full renovation. Rooms, HVAC and plumbing are dated, complete w cockroaches."
