"The hotel was okay no elevator. Pillows were hard and the beds uncomfortable. The bathroom door would creek when you open it . No A/C but I knew that before I booked it. We did have a fan in the room but it was so hot the fan did nothing. The breakfast was very nice as well as the service from the staff . Very close to the shops ."

"Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....

"The Inn is so charming and welcoming. We felt at home, particularly in our grand family room and the pub and restaurant. At check in, we had the opportunity to add breakfast and received information about dinner, making everything so seamless. However, let me back up to the amazing short ferry ride that delivered us to the front door of the Inn. "The Whiskey Vault business runs a a bar restaurant plus a small hotel. The best of this accommodation is its convient town center location. The room we had is clean but space is really tight. When we arrived at around dinner time, the hotel receptionist was not there so we checked in with the staff at the bar. "Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable, great location- up the hill from the town center. There’s a common refrigerator and sink area which was great but no dishes or cutlery-that would be a nice addition, as would a coffee maker of some sort. There is also not a sitting area outside which would be nice as there is a space for it. Staff was largely unavailable-typically a day or two to respond so you must be self sufficient and not rely on them for immediate needs. Would stay here again."

"Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!"

"The Ronebhal Guest House was amazing from the view out our room window to the wonderful shower!! There were many special touches too, like bathrobes and snacks. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!! We would definitely stay there anytime we are in the area!!"
