"Inexpensive location to visit Bilbao. Transportation is a 20 min bus ride to downtown. Staff were helpful with directions and special requests. The room was tired and not well cleaned. Furniture was scuffed, fridge did not work and dust was on all the trim. "

"Great stop from med to Bilbao. Our room condition had suffered from some bad guests. Cigarette burns and black scratches to the shower tray. There is a great local cafe in the Eroski supermarket complex. Sadly access to Tuleda old town is poor. Need to drive and parking is difficult. Also restaurants are mostly closed Monday and Tuesday so avoid those days if you want to eat out."

"The hotel feels dated but it's nautically themed so it's forgiveable. Found myself having to isolate a buzzing switchboard however at night to sleep. Great staff, nice comfortable room and a decent shower. Bit of a walk from the bus station but would be a short taxi ride and plenty of on street parking available. Close to the beach. "

"On arrival at 13.00 we were told that we could not have our room key until 14.30. Fair enough although most hotels that we have stayed in have been flexible on this point. Asked if they had a room for luggage while we went for lunch. No but we could leave it in the lounge. We left it and decided to go out for lunch. when we returned at 14.30 we were given the key to our room which was on the second floor despite requesting a lower floor room. When we got to our room we were annoyed to see it was...

"This is a great hotel, with very pleasant staff. Bedroom and bathroom were excellent. It's not the hotel's fault that there's a massive building project going on beside it! We didn't go there for the view, but to be close to the Ferry terminal. It's perfectly understandable that the site workers had to start their mechanical equipment at 7am 😳"

"Nos pusieron 2 toallas de ducha y dos de baño para 4 días y 4 personas,nos faltaban sábanas para las dos camas abatibles,se iba la luz al poner el microondas,la cafetera tenía rota el asa...al coger el café caliente había que hacer malabares y en general le hace falta renovación de mobiliario,los digas con manchas y quemaduras de cigarrillo,por lo demás la estancia bien,camas cómodas y bien ubicado el lugar."

"The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms to the left, to the right, above and below. If anyone chooses this hotel to use the Spa - don’t be fooled. You have to pay extra and the use is timely limited. All in all it has a alternative hippie charm. It was clean though. But not necessarily something I’d recommend "

"I stayed here for a solo trip to get away from the big city. This hotel and staff didn't disappoint. The rooms and hotel itself were impeccably clean and the staff was amazing. It's also a perfect distance from Laredo. Far enough from the city centre but close enough to walk. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to go to Laredo. I do hope to come back as well."

"Have tried hard to be positive after initial booking in and access issues which were resolved. Food was very good. Booked because of proximity to Santander port but compared to previous night stay in Madrid at half the price and full continental breakfast for same price as this one with much less. No wifi or aircon here. Window left open for air resulted in major mosquito bites. Felt very vulnerable due to access/egress issues and would not repeat this experience. "

"Wonderful hotel at Trengandin beach in the beautiful town of Noja! What can I say? I’ve been coming to Noja since the 1970s, originally in a Campervan on this beach with my parents. Now if I have business in Bilbao I always make a trip here, it’s my happy place. Stunning views, amazing food (breakfast and dinner), freshest of seafood, and very comfortable rooms. Don’t expect to hear and English during your stay though, which just adds to the charm!"
