"Point A is a nice boutique hotel that is convenient to the bus and train stations, Buchanan Street and some great restaurants. Point A does have a continental breakfast at an extra fee. If you like coffee first thing in the morning, it may be purchased at the front desk. The unit had USB chargers so we did not have to use our volrage converter for our cell phones and tablets. Point A is in a busy area of the Town so there is traffic noise and sirens from police and emergency vehicles. Our room...

"Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Stay was fine here. Hotel could do with a lick of paint and some modernising of the furniture. Positives: shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of carparking. Negatives: bit dated. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so not amazing. It's a bit of a way out from anything, we caught the train into Glasgow town centre, about 15 minute walk to station. All in all, stay wasn't bad. It was OK. "

"Was staying on my own for 1 night. Only paid about £70 with breakfast. Ended up with the regal suite in the annex building. Well impressed. 4 poster bed (wasted on just me) jacuzzi bath, log fire’ iron and board, robes. Fantastic for the price. "

"The hotel was fine for going to a concert at the hydro. Very close to the station and plenty round about. The best thing for my stay were the staff, from reception to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and helpful. "

"Ideal if youre going to the hydro or one of the television services (stv, bbc scotland) lovely welcome from the receptionist and also if there is anyhing wrong with your room (the control panel on the air con was faulty) they'll try their best to re-accomodate for you. Definitely would go again if need to."
