"Functional stop over location breaking up journey to Cornwall. AC wasn't working in one room. Staff said it was fixed after we had been out for dinner, but it hadn't and either they didn't know how to fix it or were more tolerant of the heat. Also it's an absolute cheek that the hotel charges you to stay in the car park when it's clear everyone will need to drive to it and there's nothing else there. Other than that it was average."

"Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch."

"I feel sad writing this review as this is such a lovely building with huge potential to be a great place to stay. However, the Inn was actually closed on our arrival and all the lights were off, someone was waiting to check us in, but then left immediately after showing us to our room. There was only one bath towel and hand towel which we needed to share, the room was on the front facing a busy road and junction with traffic lights. As it was hot, there was no fan provided.
