"This was the perfect reward for reaching Tsumago after hiking from Magome on the Nakasendo. Nestled deep among tall trees, this property felt like a hidden sanctuary with its open air onsen, welcoming staff, and superb dining. Amin was exceptionally helpful during our dinner and the front desk went above and beyond to help us navigate an alternate path back to Tokyo after we found out all trains out of Nagiso were cancelled due to rain. "Simply wow. the room, top notch japanese food, excellent service , the onsen and not forgetting the secluded location all helped to make our stay unforgettable. The perfect way to end our Japanese adventure. "
