"First time staying in Ibague and the hotel Sonesta did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful (especially nice with my limited Spanish). Room was clean and quiet and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was included and had a variety of offerings, and the food quality was quite good. Hotel is attached to a shopping mall with plenty of options for shopping or eating. Spa services were a good value, and the neighborhood felt safe and secure. Rooftop pool, jacuzzi and sauna were...

"Hotel Kawa is located in the mountains of Salento with an amazing view of the Andes. It is walking distance to the town of Salento and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the plaza back to the hotel at 9:00pm daily. "If you’re picky, this place might not be for you. The pool is excellent, the pool bar is solid, and the food is decent—but a few issues could ruin it for some guests.
We arrived at 8pm and went straight to the pool. At 10pm we wanted to shower and there was no hot water. Staff said a valve was faulty and it would take an hour to fix. We went to sleep. Next morning still no hot water. We had plans and had to leave at 9am after a cold shower.
Room service carries an extra $4 USD charge, and on top...

"Esta muy lindo el lugar, la gente es linda, linda. Solo el servicio de restaurante muy limitado como el servicio de víveres como agua en el cuarto y asi... si no tienes coche pues es complicado llegar. Pero como yo si traía no tuve un tema. Se puede vivir la experiencia cafetalera que era lo que yo quería."
