"I came to Gero on a recommendation from a close friend. I somehow missed it when I had done a previous Takayama trip and I am glad I came back. The town is very small and the hotel is easily walkable from the station, some people say 15 mins but it was more like 8-10 mins and that was while stopping to take pictures of the Hida river. Great location for the hotel, close to everything. The Onsen in this hotel alternate between male and female daily so you will have a chance to experience both...

"車で行ったのですが、駐車場も広く無料でした。夕飯は、近くの飲食店の案内が丁寧で、歩いて行ける範囲に揃っているので大変便利でした。味てるという中華料理屋さんを月曜日に利用しましたが、量が豊富で値段もリーズナブルでした。唐揚げが自慢のようですし、実際美味しかったです。"
