"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

"Estuvimos en la casa rural La Toza dos noches por una boda familiar. La habitación estaba limpia y entraba mucha luz. Tuvimos la mala suerte de no poder dormir por el viento que hacía, al hacer esquina y estar en el monte había mucho ruido pero solo fue una noche. Las almohadas podrían mejorar. Había champú y gel, toallas limpias de sobra y muchas mantas. No había secador de pelo. Los propietarios muy majos, aunque no hablamos mucho ni les vimos. "The property is in the middle of a quiet wonderful piece of nature. The room was clean and comfy. The host was simply amazing. She made us dinner even if we arrived very late and it was absolutely delicious. Could not reccomend this more!"

"We spent two nights at La Covacha in July and it was an excellent Casa Rural. The owner greeted us and she gave us a lot of good information and amongst other things good directions for two walking trips with fantastic bathing opportunities in the Gargantas. The pool was nice and so was the mini pond with frogs. The large room was clean and breakfast was good as well."
