"Hotel Alte Redaktion is a lovely hotel, newly renovated. It is directly off the main road of Gevelsberg so very easy to get around by foot or car from the hotel. I stayed in a double room and it was a good size. The common front area of the hotel is a welcoming place and good for a beer and a chat with other guests. Finally, the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Debs at the front desk was very cool as was the breakfast crew. Thanks for a great stay."

"Fantastiskt bra! Rest 2 ggr om året genom Europa i 20-tal år och detta hotell har hittills varit det bästa! Familjärt, ordning och reda, finfina rum och sängar utöver det vanliga. God tysk mat och frukost med allt du kan önska. Återkommer till hösten!"

"We're staying at Hotel Lex every time we're in the area and can confirm that everybody is being welcomed catered and cared for from the outset. The location is conveniently central and in walking distance from the station. The breakfast is rich and the rooms are larger than normal. Strongly recommended!"

"A few very friendly members of the staff (thank you Emma! thank you senior lady manager, sorry didn't get the name), some less so. Property goes through some upgrades work, parking is unfinished and sometimes proved difficult. Main entrance was under re-construction for a few days but looked modern and very promising towards the end of our stay. "
