"We booked the manor. Without informing us they placed us in a garden room. When we noticed this they informed us that the room in the manor was claimed by the owner. At the end they solved it well they gave us a house. In general Diemersfontein is outdated. Staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is good. "

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit and were very impressed from the Smeg stove to the dishwasher, the aircon worked well and fans were much needed in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had everything we needed for the weekend. The bathrooms were very clean and well set out. All the beautiful creams and soaps were very much appreciated. "Somehow we got a Standard cottage which I think is a Hotels.com glitch but we were happy with it. Not many other people otherwise the cottages may have been a bit close together, also quite near the road (Pinotage cottage). Nice pool and spa and deck that looks out onto a dry field with zebra and springbok. Nice view onto the mountains. Well-situated."
