"The staff were lovely and anttentive, the food was great and the hotel is conveniently located. Overall, a decent stay but not good enough to return. It is looking rather dated now and needs some TLC. The rooms are bland and could do with a picture or two and the spa area isn’t the best, it needs a clean if I’m honest! "

"Hotel and rooms were average, booked a double and a twin to be given 2 doubles, then I was told no way I could have a twin as they where fully booked to go I. To my room and find two singles pushed together to Form a double, the. Was to much trouble to get extra bedding to split the beds. To then be told after we had food and drinks we get a discount, but then attitude from staff moaning about having to refund. Average at best but was only one night, food was nice "

"A really lovely hotel, very beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious and clean. Love the bar and dining area, lots of places to chill and read a book. "

"This hotel was a trip highlight. Stunning building, easy parking and delicious breakfast. Huge bathroom and possibly the cleanest we have ever seen in a hotel. Fresh air, friendly staff and we would love to have stayed longer. Special hour out to the stocks in the kids playground. Love it!"

"Had the feel of a country inn. Room was very unique & decorated like an old English inn room. It was clean & comfortable. The staff, check in, bar & restaurant, was great! Had dinner & breakfast in the restaurant & food was very good!"

"A truly lovely stay from start to finish. Checked in with ease. We had a long drive and arrived later but reception staff were patient and professional. The building was clean, tidy and welcoming and our room delightful. Everything seemed fresh and spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Again Staff were professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope, one weekend soon, will return. Thank you so much. "

"Have stayed the last couple of weeks and cant fault the place at all, very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms - stayed in the cottage room last week and Deluxe room this week, cottage ones are fine and have everything you need.. Deluxe are nuch bigger with seperate seating area etc, well worth the extra if you want a treat..."
