"Stayed for a sports tournament and this hotel felt like pure luxury after a summer of 3-star chain hotels. Seriously, the hotel fragrant lobby smell, the decor both in the common spaces and room, and the hotel staff…all amazing. The on-site restaurants were both top-notch but walking in wearing a tshirt and shorts was fine too. Parking was very easy."

However, the building is older and could benefit from more maintenance and updates. Several amenities listed on the hotel’s website were not actually available during our stay. "We went there during the crab fest and a country concert so it took us a little bit to be able to check in. There were mystery stains in the rug in the room. Coffee pot didn't work and they never addressed that. The pool is small, so you had to reserve an hour to use it and that's only if it is not booked up"

"Overall, our stay was fine. The room was very spacious and clean. The living and bedroom areas were updated and nicely styled, though the bathroom could have used some cosmetic updates. The free breakfast was a nice perk & tasty, and the staff were friendly. However, what made our stay just “fine” was when we arrived just after 3 for check (in as stated in our booking confirmation), our room was not ready.
