The morning breakfast was excellent but not as good as the Dormy in Wakayama but still good. Free washes with 100 yen dryer and free popsicles and drinks at the onsen was nice. "It is brand new so everything is in top condition. The “Ofuro” bath area is safe and accessible only with a keyboard lock. Drinks are complementary in the check in area. The free and large parking makes it easy to go in and out and bike racks inside the hotel secure your bike from theft. "

Service was excellent and unthinkable for European standards, compared to the room price (36,30 euro including taxes). Two unique aspects: 1. Smell: the corridor on the second floor had a wonderful, indescribable scent of clean like the one one you sometimes smell on clothes. It was so enjoyable! 2. "Overall, a great hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the complimentary mandarin orange juice taps that were provided for guests. The hotel was also located in a good location which was near the onsens and convenience stores nearby. The shopping street was also a stone's throw away. Definitely value for money and will consider staying in this property again when I am back in the area. "

"A boutique (15 room) hotel built into the mitsukoshi department store. Service is superb. Rooms are large, bright and very tastefully appointed. You get a private sauna which has the unfortunate effect of super heating your bathroom so perhaps ask for this to be switched off in advance of tour arrival if it’s summer.
