"It was in a good location for us since we had a car to get on the highway, but their were only 16 parking spaces, not enough for the amount of guest that were there. I thought that was strange not having a front desk, but the ladies at the breakfast bar was able to answer my questions."

"Pretty basic but did the job. Inside was clean, property needs a little maintenance and parking is difficult if you get there late. Breakfast was well done for a free style option. "

"1. Anytime we opened the door, an alarm would sound. 2. Very strong sulpher smell — half the time I couldn’t tell whether it was super or someone forgot to shower. UGH. 3. Pullout sofa was extremely uncomfortable so we wound up putting the mattress on the floor. 4. I asked for a beer at the bar and the lady told me that they were out of Gull. I asked if they had any other beer and she said, “we have boli”. I asked her what type it was and she rolled her eyes at me and said, “it’s beer!”...

"This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen."

"The sulphur smell was quite disagreeable when we arrived and we almost left right away. We went over to the Blue Lagoon nearby, and realized the smell wasn't too bad. Once we got back to the Inn, the smell was nearly gone. We didn't even notice it the next 3 days."
