"3-star at best and that's being generous. The walls are not insulated from noise. Old outdated furnishing, pillow cases seemed clean, but stained, sheets torn in places, ceiling, walls and wood trim peeling in places, bathroom fan didn't work, towels felt like sandpaper, strong smell of disinfectant, TV was broken, they couldn't fix it and wouldn't replace it, just said "oh well," sketchy wifi, but nice staff-Nai is awesome, good AC and close to the ocean. "Local family owners who were really friendly, helpful and connected. Allowed us to participate in an unveiling ceremony of local art and even took us to their Church service on Sunday morning which was really special. Only $8 taxi ride to town when we needed to go, although most local operators were happy to drop off and pick up. Would definitely recommend to whanau and friends."
