"A little hard to figure out where to park to check in, but after that it was good. Also, had a little difficulty getting out of the garage. Front desk said our card was good until 6, but we couldn’t get in the hotel doors with it to get to the parking garage, so we walked up the ramp, then parking was charged to our room, but the key card wouldn’t open the gate. We had to call someone and eventually got thru after giving room number and name. "

"The staff were very friendly especially our shuttle drivers. Thing I did not like is trash pickup at 3am were very loud with the dumpsters. We were on the 3rd floor and still awakened by the loud noise and was unable to go back to sleep. Overall our stay was good, would definitely ask for a room away from the dumpsters. Maybe I should get some extra marriott points as compensation...thank you"

"I enjoyed the look of the room (exposed brick was quaint). The bed was a little soft for my liking. Only had a nightstand on one side of the bed and we weren’t able to find anyone at the front desk when we checked out (this was undoubtedly due to the fact that there was a power outage, so it did not upset me). "This hotel was very clean. The staff was nice and welcoming. The check in/out process was easy and fast. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've had, and they had complimentary coffee, tea, and cookies throughout the day near the front desk. I did not have time to check out the pool area. The beds were comfortable, and we had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. It is a short ride to downtown Grand Rapids, so a good location for our trip. Would definitely stay here again!"
